The Board of Immigration Appeals (U.S. Department of Homeland Security) recognizes Catholic Charities’ Immigration Services as a program that provides accurate and affordable services to immigrants who seek to adjust their status, reunite with family members, obtain employment authorization, or file other paperwork or make other status adjustments through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, or INS). Citizenship classes and assistance with the process of naturalization are also provided.
Catholic Charities’ Immigration Department has extended its services to include the fee-based Translation Services Program. Translated languages include Spanish, French, Portuguese, and English. A deposit must be provided prior to the completion of work. Deposits are based on the number of pages to be translated. The final cost for the translated document is determined by the number of words. The cost is 8 cents per word. If you’re in need of this service, please contact Bertha Spaulding at (260) 422-5625, ext. 282, and she’ll be happy to start the intake process for you.
