Pregnancy services
The heart of Catholic Charities’ pregnancy services is the concern for families struggling with the challenges of an untimely pregnancy. Birth options counseling is the only kind of counseling we provide through the Pregnancy Services program. Our first priority is to support you in making a good decision for yourself and your baby. No matter what you decide, your specialist at Catholic Charities will support you and provide you with the information you need to make your decision a successful one. Our adoption program exists because of our pregnancy counseling – not the other way around.

Assistance is given to young women and men and their families who are experiencing an untimely pregnancy. Clients are usually, but not always, single and unmarried. Services offered include pregnancy testing, pregnancy planning, parent education, community service referrals for assistance with food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and support services following delivery. While adoption is discussed as a viable option, the majority of clients choose to parent their children themselves.
