Ways You Can Get Involved!

How can you get involved?

Is it your mission to help those in need? Are you passionate about changing the world? We are searching for our community’s heroes that can help us eradicate poverty one day at a time. Everyone has different God-given skills that can aid those most vulnerable in our community and we value them all! Find out how you can make a difference below.

Here are 6 ways you can make a difference:

Volunteer

We want to engage EVERY community that makes up our 14-county diocese in our simple mission to serve those in need as Christ would have us do. Lending a hand to unload furniture for a newly arrived refugee family, tutoring a student who is still learning the language, teaching a client class, writing a card or simply filing papers and making calls all have a profound impact on those we serve and how we serve them.

Most Urgent Needs:

Want to volunteer for some of our most urgent needs? Read the descriptions below and contact us if interested.

Take our Volunteer Quiz

Our 1-minute quiz will assess your interests and pair them with the best volunteer opportunity.

Host an Event

Did you know over 12% of our Catholic community will need mental health services in their lifetime?

We are looking to share the great work we are doing with our counseling program and raise the philanthropic support need to expand throughout the diocese. If you are you passionate about mental health and are willing to host us at your house or parish, please contact Nicole Kurut at nkurut@ccfwsb.org.
