St. Pius X Hosts 2 Refugee Families

When the news of our sub-refugee office would be opening in South Bend, one of the first parishes to call was St. Pius X. With dedicated lead volunteers, they quickly pulled together teams of people who rotated buying groceries, offered daily client transportation, led ESL tutoring and lent a smiling face to two newly arrived families.

Earlier this month, we brought all the volunteers and resettled families together at St. Pius for a meet-and-greet and thank you.

Thank you so much to the parishioners of St. Pius X for their hospitality!!
