Services for the Homeless
Case management services to homeless individuals to provide needed resources to break down the barriers of becoming self-sufficient. The case manager assists with linking needed individuals with resources for basic needs such as shelter, clothing, food, hygiene, insurance, healthcare, etc. The case manager may be able to conduct a coordinated entry assessment if the client qualifies.

Journey Home
Catholic Charities partners with local shelters to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Allen County. Through collaborations with The Rescue Mission, St. Joseph Missions Women’s Shelter, and Just Neighbors Family Shelter, the program offers transitional and supportive services during shelter stays and up to one year after securing housing. Homeless Transitional Specialists work one-on-one to help clients overcome barriers, set personal goals, and access resources such as housing, employment, transportation, and benefits. Direct assistance may include rent, utilities, furniture, and more. Catholic Charities also partners with Brightpoint to help individuals navigate housing options through Coordinated Entry assessments.
