Catholic Charities Responds to Attorney General’s Civil Investigative Demand

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne–South Bend confirms that it has received a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) delivered yesterday during the Indiana State Attorney General’s local press conference. Our team is reviewing the request and vehemently condemns any person or organization involved in any form of trafficking. As an organization that provides programming for survivors of trafficking through trauma counseling and intensive case management, we look forward to responding to the CID and working with the Attorney General’s office to ensure that trafficking has no place in America or in our community.
