Suicide Bereavement Virtual Support Group
Join Catholic Charities for a free virtual support group based on the program “When a Loved One Dies by Suicide: Comfort, Hope, and Healing for Grieving Catholics,” compiled and edited by Deacon Ed Shoener and Bishop John P. Dolan. A 20% off discount code for the book will be sent upon registration.
The 8-week program includes a 20-minute video and time for discussion, facilitated by Dr. Melanie Williams, Psy.D., HSPP.

Join Catholic Charities for the 2nd Annual Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades’ Lecture Series on Catholic Social Teaching. The evening begins with Mass, followed by dinner and a lecture in the school gym. Professor Martijn Cremers of the University of Notre Dame will speak on The Parable of the Rich Fool and its relevance to Catholic Social Teaching. Small group discussions will follow.
Do Small Things Together Material Drive
In honor of St. Teresa of Calcutta’s Feast Day on September 5th, Catholic Charities invites you to support local charities by donating small essentials that make a big difference for our most vulnerable neighbors. New donated items will be distributed to local participating charities.
Drop off new items from August 30th through September 7th in Catholic Charities’ blue donation barrel at a participating church, or at our office in Auburn or Fort Wayne.

World Refugee Day
Join the Immigration Network for the celebration of World Refugee Day on June 20 at the Allen County Public Library! Beginning at 12:00, you are invited to join us on the ACPL Plaza for free multi-cultural performances and activities for all ages.
World Refugee Day is about more than numbers – it’s about honoring the individuals behind the numbers, acknowledging their journeys, and celebrating the ways they enrich our community through their presence and contributions.

Classic Car Quilt Auction
Help us raise money for our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) by taking part in our annual Classic Car Quilt Auction!
Each year, our RSVP participants hand embroider a quilt featuring classic cars. The quilt is auctioned at the Worldwide Auction in Auburn over Labor Day weekend.
All proceeds go to assist the RSVP program in our North Region office.
