The goal of this newsletter is to highlight Christ’s mission of love—and help your family bring that mission to life at home and in the community.

This month's focus:

- CST Theme: Option for the Poor & Vulnerable
- Corporal Work of Mercy: Feed the hungry; welcome the stranger
- Scripture: “You yourselves give them something to eat.” – Luke 9:13
- Saint: St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) (Sept 5) Model of mercy to the poor

This September, let’s feed bodies, minds, and souls together.

September is filled with opportunities to respond to the needs around us:

🥫 Hunger Action Month: Our food pantries in South Bend and Auburn serve hundreds of families—your gift helps fill every shelf.

🧠 Suicide Prevention Week: Our Counseling team offers hope when it’s needed most.

👵 Older Workers Week: SCSEP empowers seniors with meaningful work and purpose.

🌍 World Day of Migrants and Refugees (Sept 29): Join us in standing with newcomers who are rebuilding lives far from home.
