July: Hope Begins with Action

The goal of this newsletter is to highlight the Church’s mission of love—and help your family bring that mission to life at home and in the community.

THIS MONTH'S FOCUS:

👉 CST Theme: Rights of All and Protection of Human Life

🌟 Corporal Work of Mercy: Free the imprisoned; comfort the afflicted

✝️ Scripture: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land…” – Leviticus 25:10

🕊 Saint: St. Maria Goretti (Feast: July 6)

July – Rights of All & Protection of Human Life

This July, protect the vulnerable

🔗 July 30 marks World Day Against Trafficking in Persons—a reminder that freedom is still out of reach for too many. Your support ensures survivors receive trauma-informed care, legal support, and pathways to healing.

Help us advocate. Donate. Share our social media posts to raise awareness.

🎒 As the new school year approaches, we are also thinking about families who are struggling to make ends meet. Each year, our Auburn office puts on the Pack-A-Backpack drive to fill new backpacks with school supplies for families in need. You can lend a hand by donating new school supplies at our Auburn office

Reflect:
Freedom is a gift meant for everyone. This month, we pray and work for the protection of all who suffer injustice or exploitation.

Act:
✅ Support Catholic Charities’ work or another organization that works with trafficking survivors
✅ Share advocacy links or contact your legislator about protections
✅ Donate hygiene items for survivors or transitional homes
✅ Light a candle at dinner and offer a prayer for the dignity of every person
